Is Bangius is a 19th-century building on the left side of the Tirso river, near the Roman Thermae archaeological area. Here you can take a relaxing bath. This site was built around the thermal spring, allowing its natural work. It contains three rooms (with a locker room and a huge hot water pool) and three tanks with pebble, whose water comes from the underlying bedrock. The water, whose temperature is about 41-43°, is classified as hyperthermal, fluorine sodium bicarbonate alcali. It has beneficial properties for the treatment of body and skin problems. Furthermore, it provides toilet facilities and shower stalls.
Please note that to access the pool it is necessary to wear a swimming cap and slippers and have a towel or bathrobe with you. You have 30 minutes to get changed and take a shower. Being the water really hot, it is recommended to take a no more than 10 minutes shower. For further information, you can read the pool guidelines. Inappropriate behavior will be punished with a fine.
